Hello! And welcome to my corner of (almost) heaven!!
My name is Patti. I love to move, but my husband John and I settled into the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia almost 15 years ago and decided this is where we'll stay. So now I focus on helping other people move.
As a Realtor, my mission is to help people find where their heart is. That may involve moving in to West Virginia or out of it. It could entail up-sizing, down-sizing, or simply right-sizing. Sometimes I help people buy a first home, other times I assist in a transition to their next home.
Serving as a teacher, I accompany my clients step-by-step explaining the complex process of a real estate transaction. I’m honored people trust me to scrutinize the local market data to provide the information they need to weigh all their options and choose the best path for them.
Besides helping folks find the home where their heart is, I relish where mine is. Through this blog I share most anything related to the making of my home - cooking, baking, decorating, gardening, crafting, organizing, and maybe even a little housekeeping!
Of course, the heart of any home is time spent with family and friends, faith and building community. So you will find that here as well, along with references to local celebrities, history, attractions, flora and fauna, and just about anything else that catches my attention.
Writing about and photographing all the above makes me more mindful of my blessings and grateful for the beauty I get to experience every day. Throw in a Beagle puppy or two and you can see why my heart is here.
Making a home is the reason we buy or sell a house, right? So, when you’re ready to make a move, let me know and I will help you find where your heart it. In the meantime, come visit my blog cottage often and see how close to heaven this part of West Virginia really is!
